Antithesis™ MPC (Modular Plate Carrier) is unlike any other plate carrier system on the market. Instead of being restricted to a fully assembled, costly vest, Antithesis breaks traditional barriers by integrating with our chest rig ecosystem and providing insane levels of modularity at a more efficient cost in the long run than owning a full body armor and chest rig system separately.

The A-MPC comes standard as two plate bags only with the same built-in features as other carriers, such as cable routing, placard attachment, laser-cut PALS/MOLLE, etc., but with enhancements and modular upgrades. If you already own one of our chest rigs, the bags seamlessly integrate with the shoulder H-harness and allow adjustment for the perfect fit. This allows you to add armor to your existing rig without having to swap over your loadouts from a separate dedicated carrier.

If you do not yet own one of our chest rigs and just want to start preparing a modular carrier system and add to it later, the A-MPC can be built out individually by purchasing the shoulder harness and pad set for personalized customization. All of our chest rig pouches and other placards on the market attach to the front plate bag. Essentially, building out the Antithesis from scratch turns it into an insanely comfortable and feature-packed plate carrier, but with the modularity that other carrier systems do not possess. 

The ability to swap your kit from plate carrier mode to chest rig configuration on the fly not only saves the end user money, but provides mission-critical support without having to carry extra bulk and gear on a separate plate carrier. Run the full Antithesis system for direct action/CQB scenarios where personal protection is priority, or toss the plate bags aside and run the kit in chest rig mode within seconds for situations that don't require an extra level of protection.

Premium, MIL-SPEC, Berry Compliant materials are utilized throughout the Antithesis with reinforced bartack stitching at critical stress points. Modularity is packed into this vest allowing it to transform from a slick setup into a full loadout. It can be used in conjunction with our chest rigs and PiggyBack Pack, along with other placards and plate carrier packs on the market.

Antithesis has the ability to attach our H-harness for even more modular options. This allows the user to drop their plate bags quickly, but still have a full chest rig loadout without all the extra bulk of wearing straps on top of straps. This feature can be valuable for reconnaissance missions where switching between plate carrier and chest rig setups is achieved in seconds without having to remove and reattach all of your gear. 

Upgrades can be purchased separately to include advanced cummerbund systems, shoulder pads, comfort pads for enhanced ventilation, and other accessories.

Hence, the Antithesis is unlike anything else on the market - spearheading an ethos of modularity by crossing previous boundaries of life-saving, personal protection equipment.

During the American Revolution, body armor was almost non-existent for soldiers because it was useless against muskets. When used, it was generally called a cuirass (steel breastplate) for cavalry or a gorget (neck armor) for officers. Some soldiers occasionally used heavy, outdated 17th-century armor, but they were usually abandoned due to weight constraints and inefficiency.

Thus, we bring you the Antithesis, a distinct lightweight opponent to heavy armor systems worn by soldiers of the past and even today. Antithesis means something that is the direct opposite of something else or different, and in today’s modern battlefield, speed and agility can be the difference (antithesis) between life and death.

Many carriers today are still plagued by overly-complicated designs with heavy fabrics that add additional weight to the armor they are carrying. With Antithesis, we have eliminated unnecessary bulk through intelligent design and careful planning while still harnessing superior comfort and features compared to other carriers with the ability to upgrade cummerbunds and accessories built around the A-MPC.
