Monster Ruck Straps

The Monster Ruck Straps by FullTang Tactical are the USA's most comfortable contoured, laminated pack shoulder straps that are part of our B.A.R. (Build-A-Ruck) System where the end user will be able to choose the type of frame and bag to build their own custom rucksack.

During the Revolutionary War, various hardships, such as hunger and fatigue, were described as "monsters" among the soldiers. To comfortably endure the hardship of carrying a heavy pack while traversing rough terrain, we built these straps to handle a "monster" of a load. They are compatible with any ALICE-style frame, and can be used on most other frames that have adjustment slots or bars for attachment.

Externally, the straps are made of 500D Cordura/Squadron laser-cut laminate material on the top and durable moisture-wicking softshell material underneath wrapped around thick foam. All attachment points utilize MIL-SPEC webbing and hardware.

Internally, we are using the highest quality closed-cell, cross-linked foam in the industry that does not deform over time and feels like a dense memory foam. The top of the foam is reinforced with HDPE to spread the weight around the shoulders and the straps are thick and wide for unparalleled comfort compared to others on the market. 

Connection points on the top and tip of the straps allow you to remove the hardware for different configuration methods. For example, the ladder locks can be removed and replaced with quick-release buckles. The load lifter straps are also removable and adjustable. We use metal components wherever hardware is stitched on all of our packs and straps. Other buckles and attachments are removable and easily replaceable. 

Double bar-tacked MIL-SPEC webbing running the full length of the straps ensure durability and longevity without failure. The straps include all hardware and straps necessary to connect them to any frame.

When we say these are most likely the most comfortable backpack shoulder straps on the market, we really aren't being biased. We have tested countless packs over the past two decades during real world use. Our mission was to make the most comfortable, versatile pack straps as part of a fully customizable system with various frames and bags.
