Ranger Ruck

Built to withstand the harshest of environments and outlive you, the Ranger Ruck is an expandable rolltop pack constructed of MIL-SPEC 1000D TPU/DWR-coated nylon fabric and has a robust compression system which eliminates the possibility of catastrophic failures during your mission or wilderness adventure.

The ruck can be expanded from 50 liters to 70+ liters (3100-4300 cu. in.) with the rolltop closure and has the ability to attach either of our free-floating/removable lids, the E&E Top Lid or Tricorne Top Lid. This allows the user to carry bulky gear, such as jackets or sleeping pads, underneath the top lid and cinch it down tightly. 

On the exterior of the bag, we added laser-cut PALS/MOLLE grids with vertical daisy chain webbing, side bottle/canteen pockets, and bottom lashing points for more gear such as sleep carrier systems.

The interior is a large tube with heavy-duty side-access zippers, a hydration sleeve, bladder hanger, and two attachment points for larger radio pouches. The presence of protected zippers and a Kevlar-coated back panel makes this ruck a virtually indestructible load hauler capable of packing some serious weight.

The Ranger Ruck uses our robust SLIM™ Frame system comprised of 3 vertical aluminum stays and 3 horizontal carbon fiber stays attached to an HDPE sheet and covered with a 1500D laminated fabric panel. This creates a contoured profile that matches the shape of the human spine while allowing the ruck to carry serious loads with same unparalleled comfort as an internal frame pack - but with external frame capabilities.

A laser-cut MOLLE packboard on the frame expands load-hauling possibilities such as carrying equipment between the pack and frame, jerry cans, elk quarters, or other awkward loads. The pack bag can also be removed and the frame can be utilized as a standalone load hauler that is compatible with various load slings/panels.

Our adjustable harness allows the user to dial in the perfect fit based on torso length and the removable hip belt transforms into a butt pack/belt kit when separated from the bag. We are using the highest quality foam padding in the industry that is like a dense memory foam and never loses its form. It is by far the most comfortable and easy to adjust pack harness system we have ever tested or developed in our decades of experience backpacking.
