As a lightweight, compact, load-bearing frame for a variety of packs, such as our Ranger Ruck, its chassis is built with a combination of 3 horizontal carbon fiber stays and and 3 vertical 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum stays which make the frame extremely strong and light, yet flexible so it moves with you. Coming in right at 4 lbs., the entire system, including the harness and hip belt, is nearly 1 pound lighter than its nearest competitor without sacrificing comfort or durability.
Covered with a slick laser-cut PALS/MOLLE packboard on the front and the ability to attach a load sling/beavertail, this frame is as modular as it can get - allowing the user to carry equipment between the pack bag and frame, or use the frame independently for strapping down awkward loads.
With a new revolutionary, proprietary adjustable yoke system and removable/adjustable thick-padded lumbar/hip belt, comfort is top-notch and can be dialed in for different torso lengths. The hip belt and shoulder harness can also be removed and used as a complete load-bearing belt kit that also attaches to our chest rigs.
Our Frame Extension Kit expands the SLIM Frame from a compact assault/day pack sized carriage system, to a load-hauling ruck frame in seconds which is especially useful for hunters who need something low profile going in, but more capable coming out.
