The Pioneer Chest Rig is a hybrid between two of our most popular items, the Modular and Recon. Holding the same width & height dimensions as the Modular, the Pioneer has a front zippered admin pocket and rear zippered concealment compartment just like the larger Recon Chest Pack - but with a smaller footprint.

In the rear concealment pocket, there are 3 stitched-in organizer pockets with elastic sleeves on the front of them for carrying up to 20 rd. .223 mags within the bag itself. The back wall is lined with plush loop Velcro for attaching hook-backed holsters or other inserts, along with grippy quick-draw pull tabs sewn into each corner for rapid deployment. The rear kangaroo pocket allows you to carry an additional 3 full-sized mags.

The front of the pouch has a laser-cut PALS/MOLLE grid for hanging pouches, radios, or our Front Velcro ID Panel. The bottom of the chest rig also has laser-cut slots for running items horizontally, such as knives, bear spray, water bottles, etc. The front interior pocket has plush loop Velcro on both walls for attaching our modular inserts.

Just like our Modular Chest Rig-Kit Bag, laser-cut slots on the sides of the pouch allow even more gear-hanging capabilities.

As always, the Pioneer Chest Rig is compatible with all of our accessories.
