This kit turns any of our chest rigs into a waist pack or cross-body sling bag within seconds. It securely connects to the rear panel using hook and loop and the built-in straps on the chest rigs. The mounting hardware sits flush and out of the way, so the kit can be permanently installed without interference when the bag is in chest rig mode. This allows you to quickly and seamlessly swap between the two configurations on the fly.
To add even more modularity, the Waist Pack-Sling Adapter Kit (WP-SAK) works with our Padded Wings to turn your chest rig into a minimalistic belt/jungle kit. Use it in conjunction with our shoulder H-harness, Shoulder Pads, and Suspension Kit for heavy loadouts.
Our Belt Suspension Kit can be purchased separately if additional support is needed for heavier loads, providing a 6-point suspension system from our shoulder harness to the converted waist pack and wings.
The WP-SAK includes a laminated hook and loop adapter panel with side connection points, 48" and 16" x 1.5" waist straps for fanny pack mode (buckle to one side/swappable left or right-handed), two 36" x 1.5" waist straps for full belt kit mode (buckle in front), and all necessary hardware to turn your chest rig into a waist pack.
