FlexCore™ Cummerbund

The FlexCore™ Cummerbund by FullTang Tactical is a game changer for both plate carriers and chest rigs. This is the only cummerbund on the market that works with both as a structural load-bearing system since the core extends around the entire body. 

Instead of two separate pieces that connect to the front and rear plate bags, the FlexCore is one-piece and connects to the rear plate bag with the extended thermoplastic core in the back.

A truly one-size-fits-most solution (up to 40" waist), the cummerbund is built with an internal sleeve on the front wings that house the rear wings. To adjust, you simply push the rear wings into the front wing sleeve, and lock it down with Velcro through the laser-cut openings. 

To connect the FlexCore™ to our chest rigs, we make adapters for seamless integration so you can have a complete load-bearing chest rig system, the same as a plate carrier but without the plates. Our Antithesis Plate Bags can be quickly added to the platform so you can swap between plate carrier and chest rig configurations on the fly. 

The FlexCore™ Cummerbund gets its name based on the construction and flexibility of the thermoplastic core. When you bend over, twist, or sit in a vehicle, the thermoplastic core is designed to slightly flex with movement as to not restrict breathing and enhance comfort levels.  

The cummerbund can also transform into a belt kit using a Raptor Buckle (sold separately). Any of our chest rig pouches can be attached to the rear panel and turn it into a butt pack.

The FlexCore™ Rear MOLLE Panel can also be purchased separately and allow you to connect it to the rear of the Shoulder Harness using our Mod Straps as a suspension system for load-bearing belt capabilities.

Our FlexCore™ Backpack Adapter allows you to run the FlexCore™ Cummerbund with our smaller packs such as the PiggyBack or WAR Pack.
