The Antithesis™ Plate Bags are unlike any other plate carrier system on the market. We wanted to offer a simple, minimalist solution to carry plates seamlessly within our chest rig ecosystem. This platform allows you to swap between plate carrier and chest rig configurations on the fly.
Antithesis is sold as front and rear plate bags only.
Our plate bags feature the ability to flex for different plate sizes and can hold either medium or large SAPI/ESAPI plates with zero slop.
Foam pontoons/padding can be inserted between the mesh panel and our optional moisture-wicking softshell plate covers inside of the bags to create a superior airflow channel that dissipates heat through the holes of the mesh and out of the carrier away from your body. This method eliminates entrapment of heat or moisture.
If you already own one of our chest rigs, you can simply add the plate bags to your existing harness without having to purchase an entirely new plate carrier. This is a huge cost savings for those who already own our chest rigs.
Additionally, low-profile elastic cummerbunds can be purchased separately and utilized with this system along with most other cummerbunds on the market. Otherwise, the included straps with all of our chest rigs provide ample support around the waist to stabilize the plates with the harness and extra Mod Straps can be picked up for more stabilization.
Our chest rig Shoulder Harness slides into the patent pending Universal H-harness Receiving Sleeve on the rear plate bag, then clips into the front plate bag either with our proprietary hardware or by using the buckles that came with your chest rig after attaching it as a placard. This provides a quick-release feature where you can easily clip out of plate carrier mode and back into chest rig mode on the fly.
This system allows you to carry your plates with you while running certain drills or missions, then quickly attach or detach the harness to run Antithesis as a plate carrier or chest rig.
Antithesis is made using lightweight but extremely durable, hydrophobic materials such laser-cut 1500D laminate and 3D spacer mesh. These materials make our carrier system dynamic for both arctic and arid environments.
