These pack straps are part of our new B.A.R. (Build-A-Ruck) System where the end user will be able to choose the type of frame and bag to build their own custom rucksack. They are compatible with any Alice-style frame, and can be used on most other frames that have adjustment slots or bars for attachment.

The Backpack Shoulder Straps by FullTang Tactical are made of 500D Cordura and Squadron laser-cut laminate material on the top, as well as durable softshell material underneath that does a great job at wicking moisture.

Internally, we are using the highest quality closed-cell, cross-linked foam in the industry that does not deform over time and feels like a dense memory foam. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The top of the foam is reinforced with HDPE to spread the load and the straps are thick and wide for unparalleled comfort compared to other straps on the market.

Connection points on the top and tip of the straps allow you to remove the hardware for different configuration methods. For example, the ladder locks can be removed and replaced with quick-release buckles. The load lifter straps are also removable and adjustable. We use metal components wherever hardware is stitched on all of our packs and straps. Other buckles and attachments are removable and easily replaceable.

Double bar-tacked MIL-SPEC webbing running the full length of the straps ensure durability and longevity without failure. The straps include all hardware and straps necessary to connect them to any frame.

All materials are made and sourced in the USA for Berry Compliance.

When we say these are most likely the most comfortable backpack shoulder straps on the market, we really aren't being biased. We have tested countless packs over the past two decades during real world use. Our mission was to make the most comfortable, versatile pack straps as part of a fully customizable system with various frames and bags.

Heavy-duty YKK AquaGuard® zippers make it nearly impossible for water to penetrate into the bag. When traversing rough terrain in unfavorable weather conditions, it's important to keep your gear as dry as possible for as long as possible.

Aluminum Stays

The pack includes a removable HDPE frame sheet with dual curved aluminum stays that are adjustable to body type. Our frame is similar to what's used in larger rucksacks for load transfer to the hips.

Padded Hip Belt

Tough Buckle

Our removable padded waist belt helps transfer heavier loads to the hips and allows you to carry more gear using the laser-cut MOLLE on each side. We use a patented 3DSR® Tactical Buckle that is made of fragmentation resistant polymer and has a 300 lb. load capacity with quick release function. When overloaded, the buckle releases without breaking. It is tough, crush, and mud resistant.

Load Bearing

Shoulder straps are the lifeline of any pack. Without them, you can't carry it. Without comfort, you can't carry it very far. Our shoulder straps are thick padded with dense but soft cross-linked closed-cell foam and reinforced with 2" MIL-SPEC webbing over the top that runs in a "V" pattern behind the back panel and hard stitched into the waist belt for proper load transfer. You can't see it on the outside, but it's there.

Our foam "stovepipes" are covered with durable moisture-wicking nylon softshell material, maintaining comfort on long hikes or patrols. The raised stovepipes create an air channel between them to help keep your back cooler.

Load Lifters

Weight Distribution

Removable load lifters at the top of the pack help draw the weight closer to your back, creating a more evenly balanced load. These are essential when carrying heavier items and stability matters.
