The FlexCore™ Range/Battle Belt is built tough with a flexible but rigid CURV® thermoplastic core. However, that's not what makes this belt kit stand apart.
FlexCore™ is comprised of three main parts - the core back/lumbar section, and two thermoplastic/laminate material side wings that act as sleeves that slide onto each end of the back section then lock in place.
The core section wraps completely around the back to the sides of the hips, then the extension side wings are used for size adjustments, making this belt a truly one-size-fits-all solution. But, what happens next is where the FlexCore™ really gets its name.
In the middle of the core section, we have included a strong elastic stretch function that allows the entire belt to flex slightly with the body when bending over, twisting, or sitting in a vehicle. This concept is developed from the same concept as a plate carrier cummerbund, now integrated into a belt kit.
The exterior is lined with laminated MOLLE slots with a thermoplastic core for mounting heavy equipment, and the inside of the belt is lined with plush loop/laminated Velcro which also has MOLLE slots for mounting pouches with hook-backed attachments. The belt can be worn with an inner belt that has hook surface, or standalone with our FlexCore™ Pad Set.
Adjusting the FlexCore™ is simple. After each side wing is dialed in as closely as possible to your waist size, we have included a Raptor Buckle at each end for micro adjustments using a webbing strap that tucks away into the sleeve. We have also made this adjustment method completely ambidextrous for left or right-handed users, allowing you to swap the male/female buckles to either end of the belt wings.
