HATCH gets its name not only from the acronym, but because it opens like a hatch door from the top and away from the body for quick and easy access to the interior.
Unlike other bino pouches on the market that use unreliable magnets, we have designed a system that not only opens quickly and silently with single-handed operation, but locks closed using shock cord and a toggle so your expensive equipment doesn't run the risk of falling out during a hike or transport.
The main compartment is lined with plush loop Velcro with a high-quality padding layer underneath for keeping your optics protected. The loop Velcro also provides the ability to attach small hook-backed pouches, foam fly patches, or holsters.
Laser-cut MOLLE slots on the top, sides, and bottom of the rig provide ample space for attaching pouches, knives, game calls, or fishing tackle.
Three vertical elastic bands sewn into the front provide exterior storage of important items that need to be retrieved quickly such as tube calls and flashlights.
A full passthrough opening at the bottom of the kangaroo pocket accepts danglers such as our Dangaroo Pocket for carrying bear spray cans, water bottles, or med kits.
