Inspired by the CEO/Chief Designer whose father served as an 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper/Ranger and grandfather survived the Battle of Iwo Jima, the Minuteman Pack V2 is a highly versatile and scalable 35L (2200 cu-in) 3-day assault/patrol pack that is perfect for hiking, hunting, camping, and military/special operations.
Versatility:
The Minuteman uses a removable internal frame with dual aluminum stays built to haul serious loads with the comfort and light weight of an internal-framed pack.
Laminated laser-cut PALS/MOLLE across the front and sides of the pack provide endless gear hauling options with traditional PALS webbing attachment points for lashing straps on the top and bottom. Vertical daisy chain loops on the front allow for weaving shock/bungee cord tie downs or attaching buckles for hanging various items.
The side pockets are great for securing tripods, rifles, or other long items on the outside. The bottom panel also contains MIL-SPEC PALS webbing for lashing sleep systems or other gear to the bottom of the pack.
The Minuteman has a full U-shaped clamshell opening with protective zipper gussets and laminated Velcro laser-cut MOLLE on the interior front and back walls for attaching gear with endless configuration possibilities.
All compression straps are reversible/removable to allow various configuration and gear-lashing capabilities.
Scalability:
Starting at 35 liters (2200 cu-in) and scalable up to 50+ liters using our optional sustainment pouches, top lid, beavertail, and sleep carrier system, this bag can turn into a solid rucksack/patrol pack loadout. For even more capability, our chest rigs can be attached to the shoulder straps or front of the pack as an extra pouch and stabilized around the waist using the included compression straps/buckles.
Organization:
The large main compartment has a clamshell opening and is lined with laser-cut plush loop Velcro on the front and back interior walls for attaching hook-backed inserts or MOLLE pouches, making it easy to access and organize items.
An interior mesh zippered pocket can fit gloves, hats, scarfs, water filtration systems, or similar sized objects. The back wall has a sleeve for water bladders, laptops, or or other flat items. Two interior side pockets can carry water bladders, 32 oz. bottles, or other gear.
The pack has a built-in top lid with two zippered pockets and a large pocket on the bottom, as well as a smaller admin pocket on the top, and at the bottom of the pack is a hidden pocket for a rainfly, poncho, or other flat items.
Comfort:
Using the most comfortable, high-quality foam on the market, we have designed one of the best harness systems found on a pack. The shoulder straps are individual components consisting of cross-linked, closed-cell foam that feels almost like memory foam and will not lose its form over time. The rebound rate of this foam is 100% unlike other foams on the market that compress and deform with use.
The contoured shoulder straps work like an adjustable yoke system, moving up and down to fit different torso lengths and are wrapped with durable moisture-wicking softshell material over a layer of mesh. Load lifters keep the pack balanced and weight off the shoulders. A measuring guide built into the back panel between the back padding makes adjustments up or down seamless and easy to remember.
The included 2" waist belt is removable and contains a dual-adjust GT COBRA buckle. The lumbar pad is made with a combination of moisture wicking softshell material and mesh and allows attachment of our SF Hip Belt (optional) or other hip belts on the market.
Materials:
The pack is made with the most durable MIL-SPEC materials such as water-repellent 500D/1000D CORDURA® and waterproof YKK AquaGuard® zippers for superior protection from the elements. Reinforced material/stitching at all potential stress points, abrasion-resistant 1500D fabric at contact areas such as the front and side panels, and rock-solid meticulous construction make this pack ready for some serious use.
We are using a combination of ITW buckles and metal hardware for fail-proof reliability in the field. All straps and hardware can be easily replaced without stitching.
Durability:
The Minuteman Pack is named after an elite force who were hand-picked during the American Revolution and required to be highly mobile and assemble quickly. It is currently being used by active-duty military, withstanding the harshest of environments while handling significantly more weight than the average pack in its size class.
This is achieved by reinforcing all critical connection points with bartacks and triple stitching, and using the strongest USA-made materials available in the industry.
