The XO-Skeleton is a revolutionary, yet intuitive design that allows any of our chest rigs to connect to the FlexCore™ Cummerbund. Run heavier loads than usual using a chest rig platform instead of a plate carrier.
By connecting the FlexCore™ Cummerbund to the XO-Skeleton platform, this setup provides a continuous structural exoskeleton around the body that your chest rig loadout rests on, while providing flex in the rear if you bend over, twist, or sit in a vehicle.
With the Back Panel Adapter Kit, you can attach any of our smaller packs/panels such as the Adaptive Back Panel, PiggyBack Pack, or WAR Pack to this platform for a one-piece structural load-bearing system.
Quick-release tube adapters can now be added to each side of your chest rig for quick donning and doffing, just like a plate carrier. Add our Body Pad Set for extreme comfort around the waist.
The XO-Skeleton is constructed of a CURV® thermoplastic core in an "X" pattern covered by hook and loop to not only give the panel rigidity for attaching cummerbunds, but allows it to twist/move with the body.
For the XO-Skeleton to function as intended with our FlexCore™ Cummerbund, the Back Panel Adapter Kit should be purchased separately to connect any of our back panels/packs, that utilize the Universal H-Harness Receiving Sleeve mechanism. This allows you to connect everything to the rear of the cummerbund from the H-Harness for true load-bearing performance.
Otherwise, the included straps from your chest rig can connect to the rear of the cummerbund core and clip into the back of your H-harness for a traditional LBE suspension.
Our Antithesis Plate Carrier bags can be quickly added into this configuration as well so you can swap between chest rig and plate carrier as the mission requires without having to carry additional kit. This is a true "hybrid" chest rig/plate carrier system.
