Inspired by the CEO/Chief Designer whose father served as an 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper/Ranger and grandfather survived the Battle of Iwo Jima, the Minuteman Pack is a highly versatile and scalable rucksack that is perfect for hiking, hunting, camping, SAR, SWAT, EMT, SOF, or EDC.
The pack is made with the most durable MIL-SPEC materials such as water-repellent 500D/1000D CORDURA® and waterproof YKK AquaGuard® zippers for superior protection from the elements. Reinforced material/stitching at all stress points, abrasion-proof 1000D fabric at contact areas, and rock-solid construction make this pack ready for some serious use.
Scalability:
Starting at 50 liters (3000 cu-in) and scalable up to 70+ liters using our optional sustainment pouches and top lid, makes this a a solid rucksack/patrol pack loadout. For even more capability, our Modular Chest Rig-Kit Bag can be attached to the shoulder straps or front of the pack as a placard and stabilized around the waist using the included compression straps/buckles.
Versatility:
Our signature kangaroo pocket on the front allows you to drop in mag or zippered pouch inserts such as the Kangaroo Pocket Pouch, Kangaroo Mag Insert - offering the ability to provide team support and grab mission-critical items quickly from the outside of the bag, such as extra ammo, bushcraft essentials, or breaching tools. When the kangaroo pocket is not in use, it lays flat and slick on the bag as if nothing is there.
The admin pocket on the front is spacious enough for simultaneously securing wallets, keys, cell phones, multitools, etc. Laminated laser-cut MOLLE all over the pack front, sides, and bottom provide endless gear hauling options with multiple attachment points for lashing straps.
Comfort Level:
Ergonomic shoulder straps using premium closed-cell foam deliver maximum comfort while the back panel allows adequate air flow for heat dispersion and conforms to the curvature of your back. Our internal frame flexes with the shape of the human spine to allow for a natural gait and unrestricted movement of the hips and shoulders. The included (removable) waist pads keep the pack stable and help distribute weight across the frame down to the hips. Removable load lifters pull the top of the bag closer to the body for a more balanced load.
Interior Organization:
The large main compartment has a full clamshell opening and is lined with plush loop Velcro for attaching hook-backed inserts, making it easy to access and organize items. Two interior side pockets can fit 32 oz. Nalgene bottles or similar sized objects. A large, zippered hydration pocket inside the bag accommodates 3-liter water bladders and equipment such as laptops or radios with a port for routing hoses/cables.
Durability:
The Minuteman Pack is named after an elite force who were hand-picked during the American Revolution and required to be highly mobile and assemble quickly. It is currently being used by active-duty military, withstanding the harshest of environments while handling significantly more weight than the average pack in its size class.
This is achieved by reinforcing the shoulder straps with 2" mil-spec webbing from the top of the harness down through the back panel and connecting it to the waist belt in a "V-shaped" configuration. Our internal frame and strap design creates an extremely tough harness system using the same philosophy as larger rucksacks with external frames. We have carried 40+ lbs. comfortably in the pack with zero issues or hot spots. We overbuilt this pack to last.
